HEY PEOPLE HOW WAS THE CHEMISTRY PAPER 31, ISNT THE STRONGER ACID OR WEAKER ACID WOULD GIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF GAS? BUT AT DIFFERENT RATES OF REACTIONS???????? PLEASE REPLY ASAP))(((
i said that the strong acid gives more gas
Yes same final volume greater initial gradient, they didn’t mention concentration however they mentioned repeating with another acid so it’s surely same concentration that will give same final volume !
The gas is evolved faster if a stronger acid is used but the same amount of gas is evolved
that’s what I wrote too
That they give the same amount of gas but at different reaction rates
stronger acid ionize better hence they relase same amount of gas but at a higher rate the volume of gs is same ONLY IF they volumes of acid used were same!!
Anyone has done paper 11 and 31 here? please tell me how did you find it because I kinda need to expect a high or low curve!
I thought it was tough so if you ask me low curve.
hello friend!!! what u mean by low curve and high curve?
i thought that 80 is A and 90 is A*???..tell me pls!
I wouldn’t say it was easy, but it was pretty good. That paper isn’t meant for someone who just knows chemistry from the book..needs alot of common sense. I wouldn’t expect the curve to be too high but don’t expect anything close to the math paper 4 curve hahaha
Dear igcse team,
If someone took maths core english second language extended business combined science extended and Swahili there is any possibility of getting A* in her certificate plz help
Hi Salwa,
If you take Core, then the highest grade you could obtain is Grade C. You won’t get any Grade A*, not even Grade B. Only Extended will grant you Grade A*.
hey couldn’t u say that in a smart way instead of that harsh attitude, the guy aims for A* but u smashed his aim by saying “not even B” i pet he’s really disappointed now ๐
Since when was providing maximum information for the benefit of a student “harsh and rude” -.-“
Come on, that’s not harsh. They’re just informing the person, reiterating the point
Anyone from melvin jones? XD
i have geog tommorow how do you revise for paper 4?
Dear IGCSE team,
Can you tell me the possible penalties i could face for not shading my candidate number on the mcq sheet. I dint know about this as this is my first time giving igcse plus all my candidate details including Candidate number were already printed.
Hi Ronaldo,
Please don’t worry for now. Keep going strong for the rest of your exams.
hey don’t worry on the question paper its specified to fill in the detals IF its NOT printed otherwise the no. is printed there
Hi, we also had the candidate number shaded in. Our examination officer told us to leave it and said there wasn’t any need to shade it in.
Thank you everyone you guys helped ๐
