What did you guys think of the Literature paper?
It was good for me. Our school does The Sound of Waves by Yukio Mishima.
For the unseen, I did the prose and it was quite nice. There was a lot in it about women’s rights so I ensured I commented on this in my personal aspect – about how she wants to break free of the things she’s expected to do by society as a mother.
dear IGCSE TEAM
whats the penalty for forgetting to write your centre name, candidate no. and your name? I almost forgot to write mine so I wanted to know what would’ve happened to me
Hello Najmah,
Then CIE won’t know who is this paper for. ๐
dear IGCSE team
isnt it possible that if the cand. no is there then its okay if the name isn’t written??
Hi Saibi,
Perhaps you could ask “why won’t you write the name”? ๐
Our answer is for the above question if ALL centre no., candidate no., and candidate name were not written.
hehehe
Dear IGCSE team or anyone who is giving Arabic As a Foreign Language :

Dear IGCSE Centre,
Why are there no past papers for German First Language 2014 and can I expect the same format as for 2013 and the previous years? (My exam is tomorrow)
Hi Lucas,
Since there is no 2015 specimen papers, you can expect the same format.
Hi IGCSE Centre
can i ask u something
in our exams
i write my name in block caps or in normal
like DANIA or Dania
and i know this may sound funny, but my family name in the passport has a U and i write it with a O
so i once scratched my name and wrote it again hehe
it is ok?????
Hi Dania,
The ‘normal’ way of writing is “Dania”. But if you have written it as “DANIA”, then it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.
As long as it is legible, then it should be fine.
thank you IGCSE centre <3
I hope the Hindi Listening Exams go well. All the best to everyone for the listening part. Hope we all sit near the speakers! ๐
