I’m worried for tomorrow as it is buhsiness studies examination so please can you help me out with what to revise and what not to… its qp 12 and not 22…
Hi Dheraz,
You should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during the exam here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/ and revise according to the what?s stated in the syllabus.
this yearz grade threshold wud go up as most of the papers were very easy including maths chem bio phy…wat u all feel??
Not necessarily as it’s possible that there are many people who found most papers hard.
I personally found them easy though
Sitting for May / June IGCSE examinations. Hope all three sciences, Mathematics, Economics and English are easy as my country is taking variant 3 for math, variant 2 for Bio, Chem, and Physics, along with English. >_<
i guess the thresholds are gonna be high ‘
I have seen very easy paper in chem and phy with a low threshold….it depends on examiner tbh…but yea it will be average not very low tho…
I THINK they’re gonna be lower than Last year’s because many people found Physics Paper 4 and Math Paper 4 quite difficult!
We students don’t get to decide the threshold. The examiners do based on the overall performance of ALL the students. Just because a few candidates found it easy doesn’t mean the threshold would go up. The examiners will consider the performance of all the students.
I completely agree with you Hazel…Threshold is not something that students decide. There might be others who find the paper you found very easy as hard. So, the threshold will be calculated according to the performance of all students who wrote the exam..
Exactly, Hazel and Michelle.
100% Right.
Hey Accountants! ๐ How was your Accounting Paper 1? From my side, it was really very easy and it was a scoring paper!! Expecting 120 on 120 for sure!!

Hi Myron,
You can start by signing up for the online revision courses here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/. You can even have a preview of the courses before signing up. There?s a revision timetable included in each courses that will be useful for you.
Alternatively, you can use the past exam papers as your revision. Before you start preparing, you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make.
