Do you have the 2018 May/June Paper for Religion.
Hi Anthony,
If you mean Religious Studies (0490), it is only available in the November exam series. As such there’s no May/June papers for this subject. Please download the syllabus for your reference: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/
My Paper 1 Maths went well pls I need help in my paper 2 its quite hard is there any advice?
Hi Anthony,
With Maths, you?ll need a lot of practice.
1. Learn and understand the key concepts and formulas. Familiarise/memorise the key equations/formulas (refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/ ).
2. Do revision based on the latest syllabus and practice with the latest past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/ ). Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
Tips:
Minimize your reference checks. Try solving a problem with the formula without looking it up. You MUST do this as many times as you can. You will be able to remember the formulas/key equations better when you repeat this step.
Hope this helps.
very thanks and regards for these blessing advice we may work hard to accomplish the target…***
You’re welcome. Good luck with your exams.
hello igcse centre.. im so grateful for all the past papers provided , it has really boosted my confidence… i would like to know what percentage uniform mark means
Hello,
Thank you so much for your kind words. Percentage Uniform Mark (PUM) is the numbers shown in a bracket in your statement of results. It is not the total mark achieved for the syllabus. It shows your percentile. It is a point on a common scale for all syllabuses to show whether the candidate?s performance is close to the top, middle or bottom of the grade.
Hi Sai,
Hindi as a Second Language 0549 is only available in the November and March series. Please download the syllabus for your reference: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/
Our teachers are very discouraging about ICT. We’ve been told that the overall toppers get no more that 72 – 75%. What do I do to improve my academic record till 10th? (I’m in 9th).
Hi Drishti,
Don?t let them discourage you. Believe in yourself and everything will follow through.
Learn and understand the key concepts. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
