Hi, I noticed for Business Studies (0450) there are 2 folders for each of the recent years.
Other than that, I would just like to say thank you for doing this work, it has definitely helped countless people ๐
Hello,
Thanks for letting us know. We?ll delete the duplicate folders.
We appreciate comments like this.
Hi, can you please guide me on how to improve in my geography papers?
Hi Anika,
Here are some tips for Geography (0460):
? Read the information given in the stem of the question carefully as well as the questions themselves
-When you are asked to use a written resource you will not be given marks for copying out sections from it. Look at the question you are being asked and try to show your understanding by answering in your own words.
-Try to be as precise as possible as vague statements are unlikely to get you many marks. e.g. ?A Stevenson Screen is used to get accurate readings? is far too vague. You need to give details explaining why readings are accurate when a Stevenson Screen is used (the louvres allow a free flow of air, the white surface reflects the sun?s rays, it allows you to take temperatures in the shade etc).
-Make sure you know the differences between global environmental problems which you may have studied. Many people mix up global warming, ozone depletion and acid rain. You must also make sure you do not mix up causes and effects/consequences ? you may be asked for one or the other so read the question carefully.
Lastly, practice, practice and practice. Answering past papers help and you can learn from the mark scheme. Download the past papers here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/
Hey IGCSE,
Why isn’t there papers for Feb-March 2016 of Hindi as a second language(0549)?
Hello Varuni,
Hindi as a Second Language (0549) is only available in the November and March series. Please download the syllabus for your reference: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/
thank you so much, especially for the 2nd tip. but what does the stem of the question mean?(1st tip)
Hi Anika,
The use of the word stem here means the origin. Questions usually includes materials that contains all the relevant information. Read this thoroughly as it often provide clues and answers to the question.
Hello Cambridge Team,
I have a little trouble with answering and structure questions for Geography Paper 1. I would really appreciate it if you could provide any tips to answering correctly and with full detail in order to get full marks, please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi Ali,
You’re welcome. However, we do not suggest to revise past papers that are more than 10 years because the syllabus may be outdated already.

The only help I want is that how do we practice MCQ type questions for Hindi. Can you send a link or a website which has similar type of questions to practice as these type of questions have not been asked in Past Exam Papers of Hindi IGCSE. Kindly reply. Regards!
Hello Meetrayu,
Unfortunately, we do not have any other resources other than the Specimen papers. You may try to google and search for practice tests.
