Hello Amr,
Start as early as possible. You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Highlight the important facts that you think could be on the test (you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/). You can then use the past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/) as your revision. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
You may purchase the A* Model Answers which shows the A* answers for the respective exam papers here: https://igcsecentre.com/igcse-exam-resources/
Lastly, DO NOT wait until the very last minute to do your revision. You may also consider our A* revision courses here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-revision-courses/
Hello,
I moved from American to British curriculum and I will do my IGCSE exams next year what would you recommend me to do, stay in the British curriculum or move back to American curriculum.
Thank you
Hello,
This depends on what you want to study in the future. We strongly suggest that you contact the university you want to attend and know their entry requirement.
I have a doubt of science subjects like lets take an example of Physics(0625). For MCQ the weightage is 30% so if a student gets 36/40 his percent will be 27%
For theory the weightage is 50% so if a student gets 74/80 his percent will be 46.25%
For ATP the weightage is 20% so if astudent gets 34/40 his percent will be 17%
so if we total this, the students percentage will be 90.25%
Now if the is extended his percentage will be shown on report card as 90.25%
But, if the student is core then what will be shown on report card 90.25% or less than that.
Hi Tirth,

Hi Tirth,
We are not the exam board. CIE is the exam board. You can write to them directly and ask them about this matter. CIE?s website is https://www.cie.org.uk
Hi Tirth,
I personally am a igcse student and I my school also follows the same marking pattern ie: MCQ:THEORY:ATP
30%:50%:50%

Hello,
Thank you for the suggestion. However, we only upload the past papers as it is.
any tips for environmental managment 0680
Hi Nathan,
One of the students shared this guideline for Environmental Management (0680),
1. You need to know the content by heart. Everything from the Lithosphere to the Biosphere should be embedded in your brain indefinitely. I used this book https://www.amazon.com/Environmental-Management-Core-Level-IGCSE/dp/0199151318 which is very comprehensive and I think it is one of the best books to exist for this particular subject.
2. Revise. Keep revising. You never know when you?re going forget one important detail. Often times in exams, we get questions from topics we neglected.
3. Past papers are your best friend. Practice, practice, practice. I cannot stress this point enough. Revise and practice- that should be your cycle.
4. Definitions. The Cambridge people are a big fan of catching you by surprise. And in a subject such as EM, you need to know how to define a concept concisely. Don?t neglect these.
5. Graphs and calculations. Brush up on your math, you will get a question related to math GUARANTEED.
