hi igcse
Could you please tell me the tips o achieve A*s for my coming igs this may june!!!!
Hi Lein,
We suggest that you prepare for your exams as early as possible. You can revise the subjects from the beginning. Highlight the important facts that you think could be on the test (you should refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected during exams here: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/). You can then use the past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/) as your revision. Start with the latest papers as they have the newest syllabus format and continue with the older ones date back from 5 to 10 years. Then, revise on the most common mistakes that you always seem to make. Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.

igcse
i am facing difficulty in accounts and i am even giving my igs this year i need some tips or like any kind of ideas that i can improve in accounts
Hi Rupom,
With Accounting, you?ll need a lot of practice.
1. Learn and understand the key concepts and formulas. Familiarise/memorise the key equations/formulas (refer to the latest syllabus on what is expected: https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-subjects-syllabuses/).
2. Do revision based on the latest syllabus and practice with the latest past exam papers (https://igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/). Pay attention to the most common mistakes you always seem to make. Make notes and revise them, so you can avoid making the same mistakes in your actual exam.
Tips:
Make sure that you use the information given in the question. The data provided is there for a purpose.
Use accounting terminology in your answers as much as possible.
Plan your answers. If ledger accounts or financial statements are required, think carefully about how these should be presented before you attempt to actually write your answer. If the question is a theory question, think about the points you need to include. Plan the order of your answer so that it is clear, concise and not repetitive. Quality is better than quantity.
When you are asked to comment on some figures, results or ratios do not simply repeat these figures. You are expected to interpret these figures and results and use them to support any recommendations or advice
i wanted to ask you if you publish our results online on this website??? because it gets difficult for us as we all be excited on he day of result….
Hi Ahaana.
You may have mistaken us as CIE. CIE is the exam board. But you can actually view your results online. You may get your username and password from your school / exam centre. Please read here: https://igcsecentre.com/frequently-asked-questions-about-igcse-exam-results/
Dear Cambridge,
I am currently having problems with chemistry and I wanted to do two science instead. i spoke to my teachers about it and the insisted that i do combined science. this is limiting my opportunities cause i cant do any of the three science in a level. What should i do?
Hi Annabelle,
Thank you for writing in but for your information, we are not Cambridge nor CIE. But to answer your question, if you wish to pursue further education related to science, you do need science subjects. We suggest that you continue to do two sciences instead.
We may be able to help you with your Chemistry problems. We have online revision courses. These had helped numerous students to score A*. The revision course provides video tutorial, revision timetable, downloadable exam-style practices, common mistakes candidates make during the exams, and also examiners? advice. Our next revision course will be in March-April 2019. The registration will open one month before the revision course starts.
