  1. Hello,
I am grade 8 now and after August I will become the new grade 9 student. For the upcoming IGCSE exam, I am not very clear with how to choose the subjects that fits me best, could you tell me what subjects I have to pick in the IGCSE if I want to learn social sciences such as economics in the future.

    • Hello Andy,

If you wish to pursue Economics for your further study, you may consider taking English, Mathematics, Business Studies, Economics, and one subject from the Science Group.

We strongly suggest that you check your preferred university’s entry requirements so you will have the final confirmation on the required subjects.

We hope this helps. Thank you.

  2. Dear IGCSE Team,
I am still in 9th grade (starting of 9th grade). Should I start worrying about my IGCSE Exams? The subjects that I am learning in school are (Biology – 0610), (Chemistry – 0620), (English – First Language – 0500), (Enterprise – 0454), (Hindi as a Second Language – 0549), (Mathematics – International – 0607), and (Physics – 0625). I am learning 7 Subjects at the moment. Specifically for these subjects are the IGCSE Exams hard? Only for these 7 subjects, not other subjects. Is it possible to get an A star in all the 7 Subjects? I hope it isn’t too hard.

    Thank you
    Vishwa Desai

    • Hello Vishwa,

      Thank you for writing in.

It is never too early to prepare for IGCSE. But we suggest that you stop worrying, instead start focusing.

We have members who started our courses in Grade 9, and we have also produced many A/A* candidates worldwide. It’s not impossible to achieve an A*/A if you follow our revision course programme diligently. You may read some of our members’ testimonials here: https://www.igcsecentre.com/online-courses/.

Many members are using our courses alongside their school’s studies, and they have experienced tremendous marks improvement at school.

Please feel free to contact us if you need assistance with the course registration.
