My son will be sitting the 2017 May/June English as a Second Language 0510/0511 ICGSE exam. Shall I buy the 2015 model answers for him? Is the requirements as same as that of 2017?
1Is there a way to get answers to past papers?
2. The answers to questions in the books are not given. Is there a way to check the answers? Eg: questions in Physicsbook, IGCSE Physics second edition by Tom Duncan & Heather Kennet – Hodder education has no answers to questions at the end of chapters . How does one check whether one has Nswered correctly or not?

We have a few questions on igcse :
My child is in grade 7 now and would like him to take IGCSE when he reaches grade 10.
1. When is the best year for him to start learning the curriculum for IGCSE?
2. The min 5 subjects can be 4 from the core (namely English as second language, Maths, Sci and Thai as second language) and the first subject can be from either the core group or the non core gp?
1. The usual grade for IGCSE examination is grade 11. Unless your school has a special arrangement with Cambridge to sit the exam in grade 10, as in some countries such as India. Therefore, the year to start the IGCSE course would be in grade 10.
2. The Core groups are: English Group, Science Group, Maths Group. One subject from each Core group. The remaining 2 subjects can be from any groups. Please read here: https://igcsecentre.com/what-is-igcse/

Hi Sunil,
Normally you could purchase a separate answer booklet from the same publisher. Please check with them.
They do because I have the same book.
