  2. Hi,
We are a Belgian family. Our daughter has been educated in the French education system abroad for many years but her English is excellent and her exam results are very good. She is now back for a few years in a local Belgian school. When we go abroad again, she will start in year 11. Will it be possible for her to sit enough IGCSE exams in year 11 (without having done year 10 IGCSEs) in an international school to go and follow the IB-programme afterwards?

    thank you for your guidance

    Henri

  3. Hello,
I am a parent of a Year 9 student who will be sitting for his IGCSE exam in 2 years. I was browsing through a local bookstore chain with the intent to purchase some revision books. There appears to be a few publishers (e.g. Collins, Oxford, Cambridge). Do you have a guide on what recommended resources I should be looking at to assist my child in his revision? Thank you.

  4. Dear Administrator,

I am so sorry for taking your time. I want to ask what level is IGCSE (secondary 4) for Biology subject.

    Regards,
    Sese

    • Hello Sese,

We’d like to ask what do you mean by what level?

IGCSE is usually taken by 14 to 16 year olds. It is an international certification for end of secondary school. Candidates usually use their IGCSE certificate together with their A-Level certificate to enter international universities.

  5. Hello, I just wanted to find out what the minimum number of IGSCE subjects I can take is. Could I ask that you also provide me with a guide as to how many subjects I’m compelled to take from each group.

    Kind regards

    • Hello Sean,

If you wish to pursue further studies, you should decide on the subject based on what you want to study in the university. It is usually based on required subjects taken, not the amount of subjects taken. As such, it is wise to check with the universities that you wish to apply to, and get the confirmation on required subjects in accordance to the course you would like to study in the university.
