Hi My name Is Emily and I am gonna attend IGCSE for next year as a 9th grade student
I wanna know something that is it necessary to take Science Chemistry and Physics and the
Difference between Math A and Math E Also Between art and design , and design and art
There are no compulsory subjects in IGCSE, however there are core subjects that you must fulfil to qualify for college/university. Please choose your subjects depending on what you want to study in college/university. We suggest that you get confirmation from your preferred college/university for their subject entry requirements in accordance with the course that you would like to study.
With regards to your next question, we would like to clarify if you are taking IGCSE under the CAIE exam board?
Hi ! I’m Karthik from India
I’ve written my IGCSEs in March 2020 but I haven’t got good results so I’m willing to retake the exams in November 2020 . In June 2020 I will be turning 16 so can I retake the exams in November or will be overaged for it?

Hello there
Please I want to know how many subjects are compulsory In o levels
I gave 3 exams already which are English core , Travel and tourism core, business but I got G and F does that means I failed?? And also I would like to know if universities accept these subjects like English, travel and tourism, business, sociology and economics or environmental management
College/university entry requirements are usually based on required subjects taken, not the amount of subjects taken. Furthermore, grades “G” and “F” are considered pass. However, we strongly suggest you check with the university that you wish to apply to and get the confirmation on subject and grade requirements in accordance with the course you would like to study in the university.
Hi. I’m going to be going to 9th next year. I’ve been doing French for 5 years as a second language. Is it recommended to take German (completely new language for me) in 9th or should I continue with French?
You should decide on the subjects based on what you want to study in the university. We suggest that you inquire to your chosen college/university and get the confirmation on required subjects. In this way, you would have 100% assurance that you have chosen the right subjects for your future studies.
IGCSE books are suitable for all candidates sitting in for the IGCSE. As such, you may use the same textbook for reference. We suggest that you search on Amazon UK site for appropriate reference books.

Hey!!
Does an IGCSE candidate use the same books for grade 10 as in grade 9? Or are there separate books for the two years?
