      • Which paper do you mostly lose marks in?
If it is Paper 1/2 (MCQs) you should concentrate more on memorizing the basic concepts as most questions are conceptual.
If it is Paper 3/4 (Main theory paper, the 80 marks one), you should try and do more past papers as the most efficient way would be to understand the types of questions there would be and how to answer them. The best way to do that is finish a question then check the mark schemes. Do this repeatedly for the rest of the questions. Since you probably dont have much time, do atleast 10 papers.
If it is Paper 6 (Alternative to Practical, I dont know much about Paper 5(Practicals)), you should read the chapters about separation techniques, organic chemistry, acids and bases, and identifying cations and anions.

  1. Dear IGCSE Centre,
I moved from saudi arabia to Spain in September and here it’s quiet different.
I am, unfortunately or fortunately (not sure), not continuing the AS system as British schools here are very expensive.
I am studying in a public spanish school.
    System is MUCH different.
I always will remember your help in my IGCSE’s which I always remember.
good luck and wish you success.

  2. Dear Igcse team,
I can not see anything on this site except for your notes, I live in Thailand and this is not the peak time at all because there is still 5 moths to the real exams… Pls reply asap, it would really help.
