can anyone tell me that what is the best way for the preparation of english 0510 igcse?
plaese help
Hey sakina,
I got an A* in English so what u got to do is just sit with your teacher and write a tone of writing essays and let your teacher correct them and get a 1 in oral
Do a lot of pastpapers and concentrate on how to write a letter the formal and the informal it has 36 marks of your total it is a very big portion of the exam so concentrate on the day of the exam and remember that English as a second language is like a game of luck so make sure that your mood is good on the day hope you an A*
*Read stories and articles
*Seek advice from your English teacher
*Learn Grammer
*Solve past English exams(at least three full papers a week)
*speak English all the time
*Review your English notes
I hope you do find these useful and good luck ?
thank you everyone
can you tell me that how exactly i should finish my summary, letter and article
Helloo everyone Im giving English as A second language and Im bit afraid while I glanced at the grading boundaries, its difficult to score an A* or even an A I just want some tips from and prayers from you all ๐
Hi Maaz, maybe u should try to do more past papers and also check the words that u don’t understand. Anyway, good luck to u !
i am also giving the same paper i also need help
Just make sure to memorize a lot of idioms and sat words and put them in proper sentences. Also the idioms have to be exactly the same, if you cant remember the order you memorized exactly do not write it. make sure you read weather its a letter or email, make sure you write the basic things like dear and end it with something like with love, etc. for the summary make sure you have 7 points in mind, use MANY connecting words like furthermore, to begin with, moreover
just do pyp and you’ll be fine ๐
I myself am giving English as a first language, but I’ll give you a tip anyway. It may be a little hard to get a hang of your second language, as I myself am having trouble with mine, but the tip is to read. Avid readers, whether in English or any other language , have become scarce, so it’s safe to say that reading a lot of books will give you an enormous advantage. That is THE only way you can improve. I hope this was helpful! All the best!
