  1. Hey,
I am an IGCSE candidate of this year 2016 and I would like to ask a question which is
I study 5 IGSCE subjects which are:
    1. English
    2. Mathematics
    3. Information and communication technology
    4. Physic
    5. Economics
^These are my 5 subject and I want some ideas on what carriers can I expect from this subjects.

      • What I actually wanted to know is with my five subjects what can I do in future?

Can I aim for something good with five subjects only?

        • Hi Nadia,
You don’t “aim” for something good, you must “know” what you want to do. In fact, you must work backward. Try to feel what you want to do in the future, what is your interest and what is it you are good at. From that “knowing”, you work out what are the subjects needed to achieve that. That’s how you plan for the future.

      • English, Mathematics, ICT, Physics, Economics

What I actually wanted to know is are those ^ five subjects enough for a good carrier ?
If yes then what carriers are those five subjects good for?

    • Hey Nadia, it’s too early to decide…you would consider the applicable careers based on your A-level subjects or whatever course you will do after IGCSEs (Except if you want to join a university or college right after IGCSEs). Don’t base your career on what subjects you have…Do what interests you the most. Good luck!!

    • Hi Abdullah,
There is no penalisation for exceeding word limit, as long as you finish all the questions within the set time limit. However, for Question 5, Summary, you CAN NOT exceed the word limit.

  2. Hi IGCSE,
I am doing english 0510, I want to know what will happen if we write in summary or writing more than the word limit?
