People who gave the ICT exams in India in Feb/March, can you tell me how the exam was since there have been drastic changes in the syllabus.
Was the format same and was the paper easier than compared to previous years or harder?
I’m giving them in May
Yes I also want
Paper were easy….some new content was there…..but be cautious for Paper 2
Format is same….paper was easy….prepare access, excel throughly!! all the best
All the questions were from the new textbook. I gave my exam like a week ago. Do everything from the new textbook! All the best!
The new Collins text book? by Paul Clowery and Colin Stobart, right?
Dear Anne which text book are you talking about?could you please mention
it was very easy we did not have a excell file we had to create 1 for paper 3
and paper 2 was quiet easy
Hey Mashaal,
I gave my ICT exam now in March. Practicles was pretty easy! but when it came for theory it was mostly the newly added portion and the paper was very hard!
The practical was quite easy, both of them. But the structured was actually really hard. The format was different and there weren’t as many application based questions. They had a lot of questions based on the new and added portions of the syllabus especially questions based on energizing technologies. The last question was a lengthy explanation for like 8 marks based on a statement they had given and it’s accuracy.
Harder ,really tough
it was damn tough .Being a topper I had strain all of my grey cells to just attempt one question.
Hey I just gave most of my exams and tomorrow is economics MCQ(last one!) .. Most of the sciences extended part was differently structured but same style as previous papers and atp and mcq of the sciences were very similar to specimen paper 2016..and maths this time was extremely easy.. 3 times more than the other past papers i had solved.. However for ICT different questions were asked then we had expected in the theory part(rarely asked questions were asked) otherwise for the rest of rhe subjects everything was similar… But i think that the feb/march series may supposedlt be different from the paper pattern of M/J and O/N
Science extended and ICT was difficult overall
Oh my god.. That means I should probably do more books than past papers. Thank you so much all of you!
Is G grade a pas or fail in igcse extended
Can you please upload 0455/13/O/N15 and 0455/23/O/N/15 for Economics?
Thank you.
Revered IGCSE Centre,
In English – First Language(0500), paper 32, Composition question, the limit given for writing the story is 350-450 words, which comes to about 1.5-2 sides with a normal handwriting size. If we cross the limit way beyond (with having the normal handwriting size), then would they penalize us or not read the further content at all? Would they still consider if it is more than 650 words? Please help.
Yours faithfully,
Devanshi.
Hi Devanshi,
Exceeding word limit in composition will not be penalised. But exceeding by more than 650 words is way too much and that would cause you unable to finish your writing. If you are still able to complete everything within the set time frame, it won’t be penalised and all will be marked.
Oh my God! Thank you so much! I was so scared. Yeah, I ended the story and had around 7 mins in hand to read what I had written.
Where shall i get the Tamil papers
Are you sure it’s Tamil? Because there is no such subject included in IGCSE.
There is no Tamil in igcse
Check in O Levels, there’s no IGCSE for tamil
That is O Level Tamil. You can find it in Xtremepapers. And, BTW, Naanum Tamizhai padithu padithu avasthai padugiren ๐
