  1. Hello IGCSE Team, I would like to know if it is okay if someone wrote less than 80 words in Summary question in 0511 English as a second language.

    • Hi Faris,
If you managed to include all the needed points, you might still get awarded for the content. However, not reaching close to 100 words might shows that you did not include enough points. Thus, you will not earn enough content points.

      • I summarised all the content in my way with full points, even though it was less than hundred it was like in the range if 80-85

in English during dialogue writing do we need to use quotation marks over the dialogues because i saw in one of the reading inserts with a complete dialogue quotation marks were not used.
    thanks

    • Hello Pranav,
If you are referring to English First Language, Reading paper question 1, then you do not need to include the quotation marks for the Speech / Interview writings.

  5. Hello
For Chemistry, 0620, Paper 2 (Extended), can I write the mole concept part (the calculations part) in pencil instead of pen because I am not confident about my answers?
    Please reply quickly
    Abdul Rahman

    • Hi Abdul,
Isn’t paper 2 the multiple choice. I’m doing it too, and you’re given a separate answer sheet where you shade a box (using pencil) which represents the letter you think is the correct answer. So in short, yes. However, if paper 2 isn’t the multiple choice the I don’t know. Best of luck in your studies and test,
      Jack
